Support CCS Admin September 25, 2024At Support CCS, we’re committed to ensuring Carmel residents know exactly where our organization and its endorsed candidates stand. We want residents to vote confidently and share their enthusiasm about our candidates with their neighbors and friends.

- Why Jon and Kristina are the right candidates to uphold them; and

What Global Preparedness Means to Us
The world we live in is beautifully diverse and interconnected, and Carmel itself is home to people whose roots and traditions span the globe. For our students to succeed–in Carmel, in college, and beyond–they must have an appreciation for all the different perspectives and experiences they may encounter in our increasingly globalized society. It is no wonder companies like Eli Lilly say that equity and inclusion initiatives are “at the core of our long-held value of respect for people.”
We support Carmel Clay Schools and its efforts to educate all our students to be citizens in an increasingly diverse and inclusive global community. Understanding the wide range of human experience is essential to creating a community where all Carmel students can thrive, and it is also essential for achieving academic excellence in a dynamic and diverse economic and civic landscape.
The Risks Of Getting It Wrong
If we don’t fulfill our responsibility to prepare our children to appreciate and respect diversity, our graduates will be ill-equipped to function in the global community. Without knowledge and appreciation of differing cultural and social experiences, our graduates would be limited in their ability to achieve in the workplace and beyond.

- Your neighbors KNOW that you care about students being ready to succeed in the world. When you put up a “Shapiro” or “Wheeler” yard sign, that tells your neighbors you trust Jon and Kristina to build on the success your family has found at CCS.

Support CCS is a non-partisan political action committee working to support Carmel Clay Schools. We believe that public education is the foundation of a healthy democracy: accessible to all, it brings communities together across differences while respecting the individuality of all. We therefore seek to support the election of school board candidates who will fulfill the mission and guiding principles of Carmel Clay Schools.
